What Device Do I Need?

We have designed Gas PartsArena to be as flexible as possible when it comes to your hardware.

You can use it on:

• PCs and Laptops

• PDAs and SmartPhones

PCs and Laptops

As long as your PC or laptop runs Microsoft Windows XP or Vista, you should be fine. It will run on Windows 2000, but be sure to check the system requirements. The major requirement is that your hardware has a DVD-ROM – Gas PartsArena is a large solution and is shipped on a DVD.

System Requirements

• Processor: Pentium III with 600MHz processor or above

• Memory: 128 MB RAM

• Disk Space: 300MB of available free disk space

• Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7, Microsoft Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6 or higher,

• Microsoft Windows 2000 with Servicepack 4 and Internet Explorer 5.5 or above

• Storage: DVD drive NOTE: Drive used whenever data is accessed

NOTE: Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 is required - this is supplied with Gas PartsArena and installed if not already present on the PC

PDAs and SmartPhones

If you take Gas PartsArena out on site with you, then you may prefer to use a Microsoft Windows Mobile-powered PDA or SmartPhone.

We ship Gas PartsArena to you on a 2Gb Micro SD card with 3-in-1 adaptor. This means that whether your device uses Micro SD, Mini SD or SD cards, it should be fine.

We recommend the following devices:
